First Ever King Ranch Texas Kitchen Set To Launch In Houston

In partnership with King Ranch, Inc., the privately-held agricultural production and resource Management Company and owner of the historic King Ranch in South Texas, Tilman Fertitta is set to launch the first King Ranch-branded restaurant in the country - King Ranch Texas Kitchen.

Attention to detail and Texas tradition bring this kitchen to life. King Ranch Texas Kitchen fuses modern culinary and beverage innovations without forsaking past and present traditions of South Texas fare to create an unrivaled culinary experience. Premier beef thoughtfully sourced from small-scale, family-run ranches and farms; fresh-caught Gulf and sustainably raised seafood; and homegrown, locally sourced produce are featured throughout the restaurant’s well-rounded menu.

Inspired by the traditions of both Texas and Mexico, the beverage menu highlights a vast selection of Whiskey and Tequila, including flight opportunities for guests to explore a range of spirits. The menu will also feature curated cocktails made with refreshing ingredients and Texas Spirits. Offering amazing value and quality, the wine list is a thoughtfully-developed collection of classics and new-age favorites. More than 10 percent of the wine list proudly features stars of the Texas wine world, including three wines available by the glass or as a flight.

“Dining at King Ranch Texas Kitchen is not just eating a quality meal; it’s a dining experience that will foster moments and memories that will never fade,” said Robert J. Underbrink, president and CEO of King Ranch, Inc. “This is a visionary concept where Texas heritage collides with legendary cuisine.”

Elements throughout the restaurant are reminiscent of the brand’s illustrious heritage, including hand-forged metal drum chandeliers, framed livestock bill of sale and land deeds, momentous black and white archived photography, and hand-crafted vintage leather saddles. Authentic hand-crafted leather embellishments and a curated collection depicting decor from the 825,000-acre King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas is placed in an upscale rustic setting to create an illuminating dining experience encompassed in living Texas history.

Slated to open before the holidays this fall, King Ranch Texas Kitchen combines true Texas cuisine with refined craftsmanship to create an exceptional culinary experience synonymous with the iconic brand.
